Liam Rosenior is miraculously giving credit to his goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen after a series of blunders against PSG last night.
He’s of not giving him credit for the mistakes of course, but he is giving him credit for owning them in the changing rooms after the game and apologising to his team mates.

It was a crazy game of football last night, with PSG winning the game 5-2 in the end. But the game was not a 5-2 game at all, Chelsea were very much in it until around 75 minutes when Jorgensen really did decide to start throwing it away basically single handily. He had a terrible night and one he will want to forget in a hurry.
Rosenior is also getting stick though, as he was the one who put his trust in Jorgensen by dropping Robert Sanchez for him. Many have said that Sanchez has been playing well so they cannot understand the decision.

Enzo Fernandez frustrated with Filip Jorgensen.
In comments picked up on X after the game, Rosenior said:
“Credit to him [Jorgensen], he held his hands up in the dressing room. Everyone makes mistakes; sometimes they’re more costly than other times and this is one of those moments.
“Players make mistake. Filip isn’t the first to make a mistake, that’s part of football.”
Liam Rosenior refused to take the blame for using Jorgensen saying that “players make mistakes.” It’s true, but we could have told you who was going to make this mistake if you picked him today.
Rosenior has also noted his own failings in the game to some degree in terms of game management. He looked a little like a rabbit in the spotlight at times yesterday evening.
