Cristian Chivu suffered his first Serie A defeat as Inter Milan manager as Udinese pulled off a stunning 2-1 win last Sunday.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the 44-year-old spotted some signs of Inter’s ‘old habits’ in that match.
Despite getting off to a flying start, the Nerazzurri slumped to a frustrating loss against sub-par opposition.
Indeed, Udinese came from behind to post their first win at San Siro since December 2017.
Unfortunately for Cristian Chivu, that result overshadowed Inter’s 5-0 thumping of Torino on the opening weekend.

Those ‘old habits’ refer to Inter’s apathy after falling behind, something they were synonymous with under Simone Inzaghi.
However, Chivu aims to banish that stigma, determined to revive resilience and a winning mentality in his players.
Furthermore, Inter looked sloppy in possession and almost clueless in the final third.
As such, Udinese had virtually no problems protecting their slender lead.
Chivu now wants to address those shortcomings on the training ground and eradicate sluggishness and complacency.
