Crystal Palace sign forward Lloyd-Smith | OneFootball

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of forward Lexi Lloyd-Smith on a free transfer.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official media update from The Eagles this evening.

The 23-year-old pacey attacker joins Crystal Palace after leaving former club Bristol City earlier this summer. She has signed a three-year contract with the South Londoners.

Lloyd-Smith spent two seasons with Bristol City after joining the club from Southampton in summer 2024. She made 21 appearances for The Robins in Barclays WSL2 last season, scoring 11 goals. Lloyd-Smith has also previously represented Charlton Athletic in the second tier.

The player was rated very highly in her youth. She spent time in the academies at both Arsenal and Chelsea.

On the international stage, Lloyd-Smith has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-23 level.

After sealing her move to Crystal Palace, Lloyd-Smith said “It’s almost like it was meant to be – I’m happy to be back in South London, back at home.

“I know I’m going to be playing for something more now – my roots, where I’m from. I’ll always be proud to be from Peckham. It means everything.”

Lloyd-Smith is Crystal Palace’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
