WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Eagles this evening.
It has been reported that the 24-year-old will be with the South Londoners until the end of January.
Woodham started out with Bristol City before joining Reading where she spent five-and-a-half years. The player signed for American club Seattle Reign back in January and she made eight appearances in the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
The Welsh international defender will now take up a new challenge with Crystal Palace. Woodham has plenty of experience to offer The Eagles ahead of their debut campaign in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
After adding Woodham to the Crystal Palace squad, the club’s Head of Women’s Football, Grace Williams said “We are thrilled to welcome Lily to the team for the first half of our season.
“She is an incredibly talented player, and we’re confident she will make a big impact here with her WSL experience.”
Woodham becomes Crystal Palace’s 12th signing of the summer transfer window. She joins Poppy Pritchard in signing for The Eagles on Transfer Deadline Day.
