Manchester United faced off against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Bruno Fernandes scored the opener from the penalty spot in the 61st minute. However, Ryan Christie equalised for the home side just six minutes later. The Red Devils regained the lead thanks to an unfortunate own goal by James Hill in the 71st minute. However, Harry Maguire was sent off by the referee soon after. Bournemouth equalised in the 81st minute thanks to Eli Junior Kroupi’s penalty. The match ended with Michael Carrick’s men settling for a hard-fought 2-2 draw away from home.
