The draw for the first round of the DFB Cup will take place on 15 June – here’s the key information.

The DFB Cup is being held for the 83rd time in the 2025/26 season, with the first round proper to be played between Friday 15 and Monday 18 August. FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart will be in action on 26 and 27 August due to their involvement in the DFL Supercup as reigning league champions and cup holders. The first-round match-ups will be decided this Sunday evening, 15 June.
