Vincent Kompany makes a clear appeal to the Bayern fans ahead of the PSG second leg. The FCB coach wants maximum support in the Allianz Arena for the comeback.
FC Bayern are under pressure after the 4:5 in the semi-final first leg at Paris Saint-Germain. Before the second leg in Munich, Kompany made it clear at the press conference how important he believes the atmosphere in the Allianz Arena can be.
The Belgian had a clear message for the fans: „My only request is: if anyone with a ticket feels uncomfortable on match day, please stay at home and give your ticket to the fittest person who can do their bit in this fortress called the Allianz Arena,“ said Kompany.
The Bayern coach went on to explain what he was all about: „We have to win the game and we need the support of 75,000 people in the stadium.“

Kompany had already focused on the Munich supporters immediately after the game in Paris. Despite the narrow defeat, the 40-year-old emphasized that he firmly believes in a turnaround in the second leg.
„We need our fans. We need support,“ said Kompany directly after the 4:5 at the Parc des Princes. And he continued: „We don’t need less, we need even more.“
The Bayern coach still sees every chance in sporting terms. Munich scored four goals in Paris, but conceded too many defensively. This is precisely what the record champions want to work on between now and the second leg.
„We also scored four goals, away from home, in PSG, in Paris. We can score goals, and I believe we will be able to do that at home too,“ explained Kompany. His appeal to the fans shows that in Munich, it’s not just the team that has to deliver, but also the Allianz Arena.
