Curro Torres is returning to Spain to take charge of Real Murcia after a trophy-winning spell with Levadia Tallinn.
According to Superdeporte, the former Valencia CF player had spent recent months seeking a project to rekindle his enthusiasm and will lead one of Spanish football’s historic clubs.
He previously coached Valencia Mestalla, coming close to promotion to Segunda Division with a brave, enterprising side that connected with Valencia supporters.
In Murcia he faces a significant test, with the team in a difficult position in Primera RFEF despite expectations of a place in professional football. Torres will need to turn results around to try to set the club on course for a return to Segunda Division next season.
The focus now is on improving results and establishing a clear path under his leadership.
