These are the final games of the UEFA World Cup qualifiers, which will take place on Tuesday March 31.

The winners of these games will progress to the 2026 finals this summer.

Wales 1-1 Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnia and Herzegovina win 4-2 on penalties)

Wales led through Dan James' excellent goal after half time, but 40-year-old Edin Dzeko equalised in the closing stages. Brennan Johnson and Neco Williams couldn't convert their penalties and Bosnia and Herzegovina took advantage.

Czechia 2-2 Ireland (Czechia win 4-3 on penalties)

After plenty of early action, Ireland led with just a few minutes left before Czechia levelled late on. Misses from Alan Browne and Finn Azaz helped Czechia to win.

Kylian Mbappe and Hugo Ekitike scored either side of half time to give 10 man France a narrow victory over Brazil.

EXTRA TIME SECOND HALF

A quick turnaround and the action resumes in Czechia and Wales. Just 15 minutes to go for a winner, otherwise penalties.

A couple of openings for Wales in extra time, but still level.

Seven minutes of injury time between Brazil and France. Brazil are pushing heavily for an injury time leveller, but Les Blues are standing strong.

Mark Harris lays off for Wilson to strike, but the Fulham man couldn't quite get his shot away and the attempt is blocked at the vital moment. Big opening for Wales.

With 10 minutes to go, Brazil pull a goal back against France as Bremer volleys in from point-blank range. Can the Seleção find an equaliser?

Poland, Denmark, Kosovo and Sweden also progress after winning their respective play-offs.

Dan James' wonder strike was canceled out by Dzeko's late leveller. Extra time to come.

Tonali scored the opener and assisted Kean's second to lead the Azzurri through to the next play-off round.

GOAL SLOVAKIA

Slovakia also pull a goal back against Kosovo. But, with one minute left, David Strelec's goal has probably come a touch too late.

A consolation for Ukraine against Sweden at the death through Matvii Ponomarenko.

GOOOAL FRANCE

Hugo Ekitike races into the area and produces an excellent dinked finish over the onrushing Ederson. Similar outcome to the Mbappe goal from earlier.

GOOOAL CZECHIA

Ladislav Krejci meets Michal Sadílek's free-kick with a powerful heaer and finds a way past Caoimhin Kelleher.

Goal Bosnia & Herzegovina

The veteran Edin Dzeko rises in the area and headers in from a corner to give the visitors hope with just five minutes remaining.

France are down to 10 in their friendly clash against Brazil. Dayot Upamecano is sent off for a heavy challenge on Wesley.

GOOOAL ITALY

It's been coming and the Azzurri notch a second against Northern Ireland. Tonali picks out Moise Kean inside the area and the forward makes no mistake finishing from close range.

CHANCE WALES

Harry Wilson goes close once again with a ferocious effort that skims past the post.

GOOAL POLAND

Is the comeback complete? Piotr Zielinski Poland's second in 10 minutes to provide a 2-1 lead over Albania.

GOOAL DENMARK

Surely that puts Denmark through now? Christian Norgaard is on hand to slot a fourth past Stole Dimitrievski.

Italy have another chance and Pio Esposito's header is cleared off the line by Trai Hume.

GOOAL SWEDEN

Viktor Gyökeres has his hat-trick and all but sends Sweden into the next round of the World Cup play-offs at Ukraine's expense.

Kreshnik Hajrizi adds a Kosovo fourth to put them in control against Slovakia.

Northern Ireland are leaving more space for Italy to get forward now and Moise Kean forces Pierce Charles into a low save.

Poland conceded just before half time against Albania, but they've clawed back with 25 minutes to play and, of course, Robert Lewandowski applies the equaliser.

The UEFA World Cup qualifiers resume. Who will make it through?

We have the opening goal in that big friendly between France and Brazil and Kylian Mbappe applies a neat finish, chipping delicately over Ederson and into the net.

HALF TIME: Czechia 1-2 Ireland

Ireland led 2-0 through Troy Parrott's penalty and a Czechia own goal before Patrick Schick pulled a goal back.

HALF TIME: Italy 0-0 Northern Ireland

Italy controlled much of the first half, but Northern Ireland keep things level.

HALF TIME: Wales 0-0 Bosnia and Herzegovina

A couple of good chances for Harry Wilson, but otherwise, pretty cagey.

GOOAL SLOVAKIA

Slovakia restore their lead against Kosovo just before half time as Lukas Haraslin finds the net.

Seamus Coleman makes an excellently timed tackle as Czechia's danger man Schick tries to get through on goal.

CHANCE WALES

Harry Wilson shoots from a free-kick around 20 yards out and forces Nikola Vasilj into a strong save.

CHANCE ITALY

Moise Kean works half a yard in a promising position, but he can't keep his effort down and shoots over the crossbar.

Northern Ireland are currently holding firm against Italy after a nervy start. Italy continue to probe and have most of the ball, but there's been no way through yet.

Another decent Ireland chance as Manning's cross is nodded inches wide by Dara O'Shea.

The hosts pull one back and it's Patrik Schick with the penalty.

After some late, late Troy Parrott heroics in Hungary during qualifying, Ireland sealed a play-off clash in Czechia.
