Real Betis have recently reached out to Real Madrid to explore the possibility of bringing Dani Ceballos back home.

At 28 years old, Ceballos no longer seems to fit into the plans of the Merengue club. Since joining in 2017, he has made 192 appearances, netting 7 goals and providing 16 assists. He also spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal, where he put in a convincing performance.

Betis are eager to bring their former gem back, but would prefer a loan deal. That’s a formula Real Madrid aren’t keen on. The Madrid side favor a permanent transfer, valued at 20 million euros. Ceballos is under contract until 2027. The big question: can the two clubs strike a deal? Stay tuned.
