Leeds United are preparing for another significant Premier League meeting with Fulham as Daniel Farke set out updates on injuries, transfers and selection.
According to Leeds Live, Farke said the squad is close to full strength, with almost everyone available. Daniel James is the only absentee, and he is expected to return to training in the near future.
He remains open to January additions, but only if they bring top character and real value. With no major injuries, he sees no need to overpay for what is available.
Teenage striker Harry Gray has joined Rotherham United on loan to earn first-team minutes and physical maturity. Farke believes it is the right step for the 17-year-old after his goals at youth level.
Leeds will face an in-form Harry Wilson, who was linked in the summer. Farke would not address those rumours, though he did say he tried to sign Wilson during his Norwich City tenure.
He called Fulham dangerous, saying their performances have translated into results and that they are third in the form table. He praised Marco Silva’s work in establishing a side in the top half of the table and said Leeds must stay well-structured and disrupt Fulham’s technical game.
On the goalkeeper question, he expressed frustration at the weekly scrutiny after Lucas Perri’s recent struggles. He said players must cope with criticism and deliver, but he will not discuss individual selections every week.
