Valencia continued preparations for their season finale at Mestalla against Barcelona, with fresh developments in Thursday’s session at Paterna. Arnaut Danjuma completed the full workout with the group, while Lucas Beltrán trained apart due to knee trouble and is all but ruled out.

With one training session left before Saturday’s game, and seventh place for a Europa Conference League berth at stake, Danjuma could make the squad after travelling to Anoeta but not being available. According to Deportes Cope Valencia, the squad then shared a meal at the training ground to close the campaign.

Beltrán, on loan from Fiorentina, would be missing a fifth match in a row. Ongoing patellar tendon pain has kept him from normal work for weeks, so he might not even get a Mestalla send-off.

The rest of the group trained as normal, except the injured José Luis Gayà, Renzo Saravia, José Copete, Mouctar Diakhaby and Dimitri Foulquier.

The dressing room are convinced about fighting for Europe on the final day and want to give everything in front of the Mestalla crowd. Saturday will also serve as a farewell for some players, as it will be their last outing in Valencia colours.
