De La Cruz updated his Instagram profile picture, drawing attention among Flamengo fans as the 2026 season continues. According to Coluna Do Fla, the new image shows the number 18 wearing the retro Papagaio Vintém shirt.

He remains available this year but has not been given chances under head coach Leonardo Jardim. He was among the substitutes for the Carioca final against Fluminense and for league action.
