Cameron Archer settled the game in the 90th minute with a right-footed finish, as Southampton beat Swansea City 2-1. The substitute needed just one chance.
Fresh from the bench, Archer darted across the near-post line to meet Caspar Jander's cross and steer it into the centre. Saints' late pressure finally told with that decisive touch.
He finished with one attempt, one on target and one goal from four touches, maximising limited service. His first touch in the box proved the difference.
The Saints had piled deliveries into the area, sending 36 crosses and winning 12 corners, and his penalty-area movement provided the payoff for that supply line.
Saints host Bristol City next in the Championship. Swansea City visit Queens Park Rangers.
