Folarin Balogun restored control in the 73rd minute with a deflected drive, as Monaco beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-1. The forward had earlier created the opener to tilt an open game.
He set the tone before the break, shielding the ball under pressure then laying it off for Maghnes Akliouche to sweep home in the 27th minute.
After PSG had pulled one back, he struck again, drilling from distance after Akliouche's pass, with a nick off Nuno Mendes taking the shot beyond Matvey Safonov (73.).
Balogun finished with one attempt, one on target, plus one big chance created and two attacking third recoveries, a neat snapshot of his clinical edge and front foot pressing.
With Les Rouge et Blanc registering six shots on target from 11 attempts, his goal and assist display supplied the finishing touch and the key pass that defined Monaco's night.
The display lifts Les Rouge et Blanc from seventh to fifth in Ligue 1. They host Brest next. Paris Saint-Germain turn to the Champions League, visiting Chelsea next.
