Estéban Lepaul broke through in the 20th minute with a low finish, setting Rennes on their way to a 3-0 win at Strasbourg. He later assisted the second from a corner.
He ghosted between centre-backs to meet Sebastian Szymański's slide-rule pass, steering a right-footed shot into the bottom left from the centre of the area (20.).
After the restart he underlined his set-piece threat, delivering the corner that Breel Embolo forced in from close range (50.).
Lepaul finished with five attempts, two on target, and two key passes, plus four touches in the box. He now leads the Ligue 1 scoring chart on 17 goals this season.
With Rennes' wide rotations dragging markers, his movement across the front line and dead ball quality repeatedly opened lanes, while combinations with Szymański kept Le Racing's defence unsettled.
Rennes host Nantes next. Le Racing face Nice in the Coupe de France semi-finals next.
How high would you rate Lepaul's performance tonight?
