Estéban Lepaul levelled in the 74th minute with a close-range header as Rennes beat Paris FC 2-1. The forward moves to 20 Ligue 1 goals, leading the competition's scoring chart.
Before that, Lepaul had tested the visitors' keeper from point-blank range (36.), reacting quickest inside the six-yard box.
After the restart, he met a right-wing cross with a firm header that was saved in the bottom right corner (59.), showing he kept attacking the near-post channel.
Lepaul then made the breakthrough, glancing in Quentin Merlin's delivery from a corner (74.). His dart across the front post created the separation for a clean contact.
He finished with three attempts, all on target, plus four aerial wins and six possessions won, underlining how he led the line and dominated the box.
With Rennes' width supplying frequent deliveries, his timing across the near post kept Paris FC's centre-backs on the turn and allowed the hosts to control the game's key moments.
Rennes visit Marseille next in Ligue 1.
How high would you rate Lepaul's performance tonight?
