Jack Clarke converted a penalty in the second minute of second half stoppage time to earn Ipswich Town a 1-1 draw against Preston North End. The winger also won the spot kick.

In the 19th minute, Clarke cut inside from the left and shot over after a pass from Azor Matusiwa, signalling his threat early on for the Tractor Boys.
