Desplanches targeted by Rangers, Norwich City and more | OneFootball

Palermo and former Italy Under-21 international goalkeeper Sebastiano Desplanches is attracting interest from Glasgow Rangers and Norwich City, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The 23-year-old is a product of the Milan youth academy until he was sold to Vicenza in 2022.

Desplanches went on to represent Trento and Palermo, spending this season on loan with Pescara in Serie B.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, there have been several approaches to Palermo for his services.

These include calls from abroad, with Glasgow Rangers and Norwich City among the interested parties.

Several Italian clubs are also said to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

He was a regular for the Italy Under-21 side, amassing 16 caps for the Azzurrini, after representing them a various youth levels.

His current contract with Palermo runs to June 2028, but he might be available on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.
