MIAMI — The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup has concluded, with Mexico winning a record-extending tenth trophy with a 2-1 victory against the United States.

Many players delivered outstanding performances, yet these eleven stood out the most in their respective positions.

Here is a look at the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Best XI:

Goalkeeper

Luis Ángel Malagón, Mexico – Winner of the Best Goalkeeper Award, presented by Rexona, Malagón was pivotal in key moments, making eight saves and securing four clean sheets throughout the tournament.

Defenders

Chris Richards, USA – Richards was an important contributor to the U.S.’s return to the Final, providing five tackles, three interceptions, and two goals, including a match-winner in the Group Stage and the opener in the Final.

César Montes, Mexico – Montes co-led Mexico with three goals, all from corner kicks, to complement six tackles, nine interceptions, and four clean sheet involvements.

Johan Vásquez, Mexico – Vásquez helped Mexico to four clean sheets, and contributed nine tackles, seven interceptions, and the match-winning assist in the Final.

Midfielders

Edson Álvarez, Mexico – The recipient of the Best Player Award, presented by Aramco, Álvarez helped Mexico to a tenth Gold Cup crown with two goals, one assist, four crosses, 14 tackles, and eight interceptions.

Peter González, Dominican Republic – González shined for the debuting Dominican Republic with one goal, 20 crosses, and four interceptions.

Oscar Santis, Guatemala – Santis was a catalyst for Guatemala’s second semifinal appearance with one goal and one assist, 29 crosses, seven tackles, and one interception.

Malik Tillman, USA – Tillman delivered three goals, two assists, six crosses, 23 tackles, and 11 interceptions to help the U.S. reach a record 13th Gold Cup Final.

Diego Luna, USA – Luna was one of the breakout players for the USA with three goals, including a brace in the semifinal, two assists, four tackles, and three interceptions.

Forwards

Ismael Díaz, Panama – Winner of the Top Goal Scorer, presented by Aramco, Díaz led all players with six goals in two multi-goal performances.

Raúl Jiménez, Mexico – Jiménez co-led Mexico with three goals, including the match-tying strike in the Final to ignite the comeback, on top of four crosses, ten tackles, and one interception.
