I struck it giving it my all, putting my soul behind the ball for the people who have come out, and for all the people who are no longer here, and who unfortunately have left us. I'm very happy about the goal and above all to have given joy to all the people who are suffering so much.
I think that the tribute beforehand was worthy of the occasion. I think that we were up to standard, giving our heart and soul for each ball, on every move. I think that there is no better reward than getting the victory today, for all of them and for us.
Daring and heartfelt
I think it was very emotional. I don't think it is easy to control those emotions; in the end, you think about all the people, and it was emotional for me and for many of my teammates. But then you have to activate yourself, you have to go from 0 to 100, because you cannot go out on the field being emotional. You have to change your mindset, and today was a game in which I played with hope and heart, for all these people who deserved joy
Today's victory is important. We're down there, suffering, and all these people have been suffering since LaLiga started. We deserved to be happy, to make it three after the last home game in which we didn't manage to win. It will help us in the following matches. We have a very tough month coming up with another seven games if we get through Tuesday's tie. Today's victory is important for us to have more confidence, to be more courageous and to believe in ourselves. We are the same as last year and last year we had a good year. There is no doubt that we will get out of there. If we play like we did today, there are very few teams capable of beating us.
"It's very nice that they got behind us. It's been a long time since I scored at Mestalla. I hope to score many more goals here, as scoring a goal here is something magical. Any help will be welcome. I want to send a big hug to all the people who have come, to those who couldn't and to those who left us".
