Diogo Costa on Porto injury list after back issue, Braga availability uncertain | OneFootball

Diogo Costa has been added to Porto’s medical bulletin with dorsolombalgia after the game against Stuttgart that sealed a Europa League quarter-final place, according to O Jogo.

The goalkeeper needed treatment on his back during the match and was later diagnosed with the lower back condition. On Friday, as Porto returned to training, he was restricted to treatment.

The issue is not considered especially serious, but his availability for the match at the Pedreira will depend on his pain tolerance.

Medical tests confirmed Rodrigo Mora has a left thigh muscle injury, ruling him out of the trip to Braga and preventing him from joining the national team the following day.

Nehuén Pérez continued with conditioned training, while Luuk de Jong and Samu remained on treatment and gym work under the medical department.

Francesco Farioli is scheduled to preview the Braga fixture on Saturday from 13:30.
