Dominik Szoboszlai signs Liverpool extension to 2031 | OneFootball

The club said in a statement that Dominik Szoboszlai has extended his Liverpool contract until 2031.

The midfielder joined from RB Leipzig in 2023. Now 25, he becomes one of the highest-paid players in the squad.

The Hungary international has 65 caps and 18 goals. He described the occasion as perhaps his most important day and said he wants to win everything possible domestically, plus the Champions League.

Across three seasons with Liverpool he has played 147 matches in all competitions, scoring 28. He lifted the League Cup in 2024 and was a Premier League champion in 2025.

Liverpool had a mixed 2025-26, finishing fifth in the Premier League and reaching the Champions League quarter-finals. Szoboszlai still delivered 13 goals and 12 assists in 53 appearances.
