Done Deal: Matthias Jaissle will join Newcastle as new head coach | OneFootball

Sky Germany announce it as a “Done Deal” - Al-Ahli and former FC Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle will become new Newcastle United manager!

Jaissle has a release clause in his contract which allows him to negotiate with other clubs at any given point. As Eddie Howe's time at Newcastle came to a surprising end, the Magpies acted quickly to secure Jaissle's services for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

Both parties have agreed on a deal until 2030, which will be made official in the coming days.

Jaissle was often rumoured to take over a Bundesliga club, but ended up staying in Saudi Arabia for three years, which turned out to be quite successful for all parties involved.

The German coach will meet fellow Germans Nick Woltemade and Malick Thiaw at Newcastle.
