Paulo Dybala isn’t leaving Roma.
The Argentine star will play in the Champions League for the first time in the Giallorossi jersey.
He also had a hand in the team’s return to the Champions League: in Verona, in the decisive final match, where the pressure was high, he led the team to victory and a consequent third-place finish.
The number 21 has had numerous physical problems that have weakened him, but for Gasperini, he represents a technical certainty, which is why he has requested his contract extension.
The Friedkins have supported the coach and reached a full agreement on the Joya’s contract extension.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the club and the Giallorossi number 21 have reached a full agreement on his contract renewal.
The final details regarding bonuses have also been finalized. Roma’s official statement is now awaited. La Joya finished the season with 27 appearances, scoring three goals and eight assists.
These numbers don’t reflect the quality of Paulo Dybala, who is ready to relaunch himself in the season that will see the Giallorossi compete in the Champions League.
