Gianluigi Donnarumma, Bruno Guimaraes, Anthony Elanga and Joelinton are among the star names to have responded to Sandro Tonali’s recent news that he and his wife have welcomed their first child into the world.
Tonali and his wife Juliette announced the birth of their first child, Leonardo, on Thursday.
The Italy international had lined up as a starter for Newcastle’s 4-3 Premier League victory over Leeds United on Wednesday night, came off at half-time, and was in London for the birth of his first son less than 12 hours later.
His Italy national team colleague and fellow Premier League star Donnarumma was among the first of the big name stars to react to Tonali’s announcement on Instagram.

Several of his Newcastle teammates have also left comments as well, including Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton, Joe Willock and Anthony Elanga, who wrote: ‘Let’s goooo, congratulations ragazzi.”
Newcastle legend Shay Given also congratulated the couple on their news. There has also been a message of congratulations from the club itself.
Former Newcastle teammate and current Juventus defender Lloyd Kelly also appeared in the comments section. As did Tonali’s first club, Brescia.
Some Newcastle fans have joked: ‘“Have you considered naming him Harvey Barnes?” after the Englishman’s dramatic 102nd minute winner for Newcastle the night before Tonali’s son was born.
