Artem Dovbyk will leave Roma, despite taking part in yesterday’s friendly draw against Cannes, where Gasperini’s team drew 3-3.
The Ukrainian striker was already in Bologna’s sights during the winter transfer window, and in the last few hours, they have returned to the fray. This deal arose during discussions for Santiago Castro, who could arrive in the capital today.
Bologna coach Domenico Tedesco has spoken with the 1997-born player to convince him to agree to his coaching project. Dovbyk is coming off a difficult season with Roma and is looking to relaunch his career.
Dovbyk has not yet opened up about a move to Bologna.
As Repubblica reports, Roma would like to loan the player out with an option to buy that could be converted into an obligation to buy. The 1997-born player has spoken with Tedesco, and a final decision is expected soon.
