Bayern Munich's already fairly successful 2025-26 campaign could end with further glory as Michael Olise currently sits top of the Score90 current power rankings for the Ballon d'Or.
The Frenchman's outstanding performances this season, especially in recent weeks, have propelled him to first place, even displacing Barcelona's rising star Lamine Yamal.
A key reason for the changes lies in their Champions League endeavours. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid were eliminated in the quarterfinals as Bayern marched on.
Olise is therefore currently the top favorite for the Golden Ball. Interestingly, right behind him is another player for the German record champions in the form of Harry Kane.
The Englishman has improved significantly compared to the previous ranking, climbing from fifth to second place, leving both Yamal and Kylian Mbappé in his trail.
Two other players from Vincent Kompany's side feature in the 20-man list – midfield maestro Joshua Kimmich sits ninth overall, while last summer's signing Luis Díaz is in eleventh spot.
Should a Bayern player claim the coveted prize highlighting individual brilliance, it would be the first time the club produced a World Player of the Year since Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in 1981.
