Edin Terzic seems to have emerged as the clear frontrunner as AS Monaco look to replace Adi Hutter in the dugout at the Stade Louis II, as per a report from L’Équipe.
Even prior to Sunday’s 2-2 draw against OGC Nice, there were reports that Monaco had sounded out the managerial market in search of a replacement for Hutter. The Austrian, into his third season with the Principality club, has not shied away from his dissatisfaction with Monaco’s performances this season, even if his side do still sit fifth in Ligue 1.
In recent hours, Monaco have intensified efforts to find Hutter’s successor. Terzic is the overwhelming favourite, as things stand. The German, out of work since leaving Borussia Dortmund, is currently considering whether to take charge of Les Monégasques. L’Équipe understands that it is the club’s owner, Dmitry Rybolovlev, who is personally handling the deal to bring in a new manager.
