Robin Koch was back in training on Wednesday, joined by Love Arrhov and four academy players as the Eagles kicked off preparations for their trip to Hamburg.
After two days off, Eintracht returned to the training pitch on Wednesday, with the 22 outfield players and four goalkeepers soon warming up despite the cold temperatures. “We’re in a brilliant position in the Bundesliga, which we’ve worked hard for,” said head coach Dino Toppmöller. “We’re desperate to get three points in Hamburg.”
Robin Koch was back among the 26-man training group, having been substituted off with an injury after an hour against Augsburg on Saturday. Swedish youngster Love Arrhov and academy players Ebu Bekir Is, Marvin Dills, Fousseny Doumbia and Alexander Staff were also involved.
The final countdown is ticking for 2025. The Eagles will be back on the training pitch on Thursday and Friday before travelling to Hamburg.
