Eintracht to face Aston Villa during U.S. Tour | OneFootball

The Eagles will play English Premier League team Aston Villa in a high-profile friendly in Louisville on 26 July.

Eintracht Frankfurt will play a high-profile friendly against English Premier League team Aston Villa during their U.S. Tour this year. The game in Louisville, Kentucky will kick off at 19:00 U.S. Eastern Time on 26 July – or 01:00 CEST on 27 July. It will take place at the Lynn Family Stadium, the home of U.S. second-division side Louisville City FC, where the Eagles spent part of last summer’s tour of the States preparing for the 2024/25 campaign.

The clash between Bundesliga and Premier League opposition on American soil is one of the main highlights of this year’s tour, underlining the increasing appeal of international club football in the USA and offering proof that Eintracht Frankfurt’s internationalisation strategy is bearing fruit.

The game will be shown live on EintrachtTV+.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s training camp in Louisville will be held between 22 and 30 July. They will face Louisville City FC in another friendly on 29 July.

The Eagles will round off their U.S. Tour with a trip to Philadelphia, where they will play Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union in their final friendly on 2 August.

Eintracht Frankfurt will therefore face opposition from the Premier League, the USL Championship and the MLS during their U.S. Tour, allowing them to prepare for the forthcoming season against high-level opposition and in ideal surroundings.
