Roma welcomed Malen and Ndicka to Trigoria yesterday, both of whom are playing for their respective national teams at the World Cup.
The Giallorossi center forward was ineffective against the Netherlands, while the 1999-born striker, suffering from a muscle injury sustained in the derby against Lazio, didn’t play a single minute against the Ivory Coast.
The next player to arrive at the Fulvio Bernardini Stadium will be El Aynaoui.
The 2001-born striker is coming off a strong World Cup performance with Morocco and is poised to have a top-level season with Roma. Should he not leave, Manu Koné will also be back at Trigoria in August.
Still no signings for Gian Piero Gasperini. It’s been an unusual summer: Roma are back in the Champions League but struggling to make an impact on the transfer market.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Grugliasco-born coach will welcome Neil El Aynaoui back on July 30th, in time for him to leave for Wales. Manu Koné’s turn may not arrive until August 10th, when Roma returns to Italy. The conditional is mandatory, given that the French midfielder could leave the capital and move abroad.
