Elland Road’s redevelopment is accelerating ahead of the new season, with major works focused on the West and North Stands. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the project will lift capacity from 37,645 to 53,000.
Works include removal of the Banqueting Suite and the demolition of the ticket office, alongside demolition of external structures outside the West Stand.
Floodlights behind the stand have also been removed.
Work is under way inside the ground, with the pitch and dugouts due to be finished in time for next season.
Leeds United are next expected to host RB Leipzig in a pre-season friendly in August.
Supporters can expect improved seating, comfort and sightlines throughout the new West Stand. Photographer Gerard Binks has captured the latest images as construction continues.
