Endrick confirms Real Madrid return after Lyon loan, thanks OL | OneFootball

Endrick, 19, will return to Real Madrid after his loan at Lyon. The player said in a post on X on Tuesday that he was departing after his final outing against Lens on Sunday, thanking OL and likening himself to a stronger lion setting off with more to carry.

Loaned by Real to Olympique Lyonnais in winter until the end of the season, he had arrived just before Christmas on a paid deal without an option to buy after playing only 11 minutes in the first half of the campaign.

He scored five league goals, including a hat-trick against Metz in late January and one in the win at the Parc against PSG on 19 April, and supplied seven assists, helping to drive OL’s revival.

Lyon finished fourth in Ligue 1 and will enter Champions League qualifying play-offs.

His form has also earned him a call this week from Carlo Ancelotti for the World Cup, scheduled for 11 June to 19 July. He is set to experience his first major international tournament.
