Cazé TV’s Ligue 1 audiences in Brazil have surged since Endrick joined Lyon in January, with OL matches now outdrawing PSG.
According to L'Équipe, the platform, Ligue 1’s official broadcaster in Brazil, has felt a clear Endrick effect, with the Real Madrid loanee and former Palmeiras forward drawing new viewers. Lyon’s average has jumped from 280,000 to 2.3 million.
A peak 3.2 million watched the 5-2 win at Metz on 25 January, when Endrick scored a hat-trick. The trip to Marseille on 1 March drew 2.8 million despite a 2-3 defeat.
Those figures surpass PSG’s, even though the Paris club is the most popular in Brazil since the eras of Neymar and Thiago Silva.
PSG’s audience has also grown, averaging 1.2 million compared with 870,000 before, across 10 matches shown in the three months since Endrick arrived at Lyon.
