Endrick to arrive at OL in early January if an agreement can be reached with Real Madrid | OneFootball

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Endrick (19) should arrive at Lyon on loan in early January should the Ligue 1 reach an agreement with Real Madrid. The Brazilian international forward is eager to make the switch as soon as possible so he can build match fitness and make the most of the development opportunity. 

The 19-year-old has largely struggled for opportunities under the management of Xabi Alonso. Endrick made his first appearance of the season for the Spanish capital club as a second-half substitute in a 4-0 victory against Valencia. He has only played 11 minutes for Real Madrid this season. Due to his limited minutes, the striker has agreed to move to Lyon, aiming to prove a point to his parent club.  

Endrick is hoping to secure a place at the 2026 World Cup

The Real Madrid forward doesn’t just view the opportunity to join OL as a chance to play regular football but as a platform to be picked for the FIFA World Cup in 2026. His former manager Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to see the teenager feature more frequently in the second hald of the season if he is to be selected in his Brazil squad.
