England youth international Princess Ademiluyi has joined Fort Lauderdale United on loan from Gotham FC, less than two weeks after leaving West Ham.
The 19-year-old left the Women’s Super League (WSL) side on September 1st, after completing a deal with National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Gotham FC.
Ademiluyi won’t play for Gotham FC during the remainder of the 2025 season and has instead signed for Fort Lauderdale FC on loan.
The Florida-based side are in the Gainbridge Super League, which operates at the highest level of the United States soccer league system, alongside the NWSL.
“Princess arrives with an impressive pedigree and résumé at such a young age,” said head coach Ali Rogers.
“Her background with top clubs and international experience has prepared her well, and we expect her to make an immediate impact with our team. She is a dynamic athlete whose presence on the field is both powerful and difficult for opponents to contain.”
New Fort Lauderdale signing Princess Ademiluyi is a 19-year-old striker who came through the academy at West Ham.
She joined at the age of 12 and impressed for the U21 side, scoring eight goals in 14 appearances, during the 2022-23 season.
The striker made her senior debut for the Hammers as a substitute during a 1-0 defeat to Brighton in May 2023.
After struggling for starts at West Ham, she was loaned out to Charlton for the start of the 2024-25 season, before being recalled in January 2025.
In total, she made 19 appearances for West Ham and 10 on loan at Charlton.
She left the Hammers on September 1st for Gotham FC, who are sixth in the NWSL.
Ademiluyi made the switch for an undisclosed fee, one year after signing her first professional contract.
Meanwhile, Gotham FC are closing in on a record NWSL trade for Jaedyn Shaw from North Carolina Courage for a reported £921,000. Should the move go through it would be the biggest deal completed between two sides in the NWSL.
Princess Ademiluyi has shown her potential as a goalscoring striker playing for England’s U19 side in recent months.
She netted four goals, including a 13-minute hat-trick in a 10-0 win over Ukraine back in April.
The teenager was then called up for the Women’s U19 Championship over the summer. She scored in their opening game against the Netherlands, although England crashed out of a difficult group, which also included Spain and Portugal.
She is not the only English player to have joined Gotham FC, as Jess Carter plays for the NWSL side.
Carter, who joined Gotham FC from Chelsea in 2024, helped England win Euro 2025 in the summer.
