Joao Pedro has revealed what he thinks the main differences are between his former manager Roberto De Zerbi and Enzo Maresca.
Pedro joined Chelsea from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m in the summer, and was one of five attacking signings the Blues made.
The Brazil international has made an instant impact at Stamford Bridge, and after scoring three goals in three games at the Club World Cup, he’s followed it up with two goals and three assists in the opening four Premier League matches.
Pedro has arguably been Chelsea’s most impressive signing of the summer, and there’s now even more pressure on him with Liam Delap sidelined until November with a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old has adapted well to the step up from Brighton so far, and has fitted seamlessly into Maresca’s system.

Pedro worked under De Zerbi at Brighton, who was also strongly linked with the Chelsea job following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino.
The Brazil international thinks both managers are somewhat similar, but also revealed what he thinks is the main difference.
“I think both have a passion, they love football, they are very smart, but De Zerbi is more aggressive,” he said as quoted on X.com.
“Not in a bad way. The way they both think, it is very easy to understand what they want, but I think Enzo knows how to manage sometimes between the players.
“The way he talks is more understandable. Enzo is more composed but both managers are really offensive.”
Maresca will be looking to follow up the success of last season, but guiding Chelsea to further silverware in the new campaign.
