Esgaio strikes after restart as Arouca climb to 10th | OneFootball

Arouca beat Estrela Amadora 1-0 at Estádio Municipal de Arouca to climb from 12th to 10th in Liga Portugal.

Tiago Esgaio struck the winner in the 46th minute, steering a left-footed finish into the bottom right after the restart.

Before the break, Rodrigo Pinho's header was saved by Ignacio de Arruabarrena. After the restart, Ianis Stoica hit the left post (56.). The Arouca goalkeeper then denied Pinho twice, parrying a low effort and holding another from range (65., 76.).

Vasco Seabra turned to his bench to manage the closing stages, introducing Pedro Santos and Alfonso Trezza (61.), then Mateo Flores (69.) and Miguel Puche (75.).
