European giants scout Arouca v Benfica as Barcelona and Juventus attend | OneFootball

European giants, including Barcelona and Juventus, attended Arouca v Benfica on matchday 26 of the Liga Portugal Betclic.

According to Glorioso 1904, scouts from both clubs were in the stands at Estádio Municipal de Arouca on Saturday. Both have previously been linked with Benfica players, including António Silva.

Alavés, Leeds and Stuttgart also had representatives at the game. Stuttgart are Porto's Europa League last 16 opponents.

The visitors were in place to see Ivanovic's goal. No Portuguese club sent representatives.

Barcelona had already watched Benfica face Braga in January's League Cup final four. Manchester United were also present at Estádio Dr Magalhães Pessoa on that occasion.

Benfica return to action on Saturday 21 March against Vitória de Guimarães. The Liga Portugal Betclic matchday 27 fixture at the Luz is scheduled for 18:00, with Gil Lameiras's side providing the opposition.
