European improvement was once our main aim, now it’s improving domestically that’s the target. All thanks to the incompetent leadership at play in our club…

The feeling in and around our football club has sunk to the lowest depths possible, with each passing day bringing yet more woe.

Anyone who is in regular attendance at Celtic Park will know just that, as the atmosphere is one of a somber one to say the least, due to the toxicity that plagues the club in regard to the incompetent shysters who currently occupy the corridors of power in Paradise.

From top to bottom we are a complete and utter mess. Recruitment is a shambles, youth development is a shambles, scouting is a shambles, the squad is at the weakest it’s been in years. Basically every single department of our club is on a downward trajectory as those who wield power slowly smother us all with their damaging act of self preservation.

We need a change of power, and we need it now. A new direction is required if our football club is to remain successful, and even more importantly, if we are to reach the heights we are truly capable of.

For a while we’ve all been clambering for those in charge to realise the full potential that Celtic football club has, and that was to take our club to a much greater level.

A greater level being a competitive force in European football. Not like a Real Madrid or PSG, as that would be extremely foolish to suggest so. But a club who can compete at the top table on a regular basis, similar to that of Club Brugge. A club of the same stature of ourselves, and who operate in a similar domestic landscape with the same restraints, but can hold their own in the top level of European football. Or even a more smaller club such as Bodo/Glimt.

But before we can think of competing at the top level again, we need to make sure we remain dominant domestically, and that isn’t going to happen with the current lot of custodians in charge.

That’s not an overreaction, as fourth place is where we could realistically finish this campaign, when would you ever think that? Yes it really is that bad, and if you think differently then you’re guilty of burying your head in the sand.

If we don’t force change soon, then European advancement will be the furthest thing on our minds. It’s our place as the most successful side in the country that is in extreme jeopardy. That’s the brutal reality, and it’s all down to the likes or Desmond, Wilson, Nicholson and McKay who we currently have in charge or our club.
