According to a report from Foot Mercato, Rennes and Everton have entered the race to sign Rangers striker Hamza Igamane (22) during the summer transfer window. The Moroccan international striker is attracting interest from several clubs ahead of a potential move away from Glasgow.
Lille had previously agreed personal terms with the Rangers attacker, but a move has since stalled. With Tottenham target Arnaud Kalimeundo (23) to depart Rennes this summer, Les Rouges et Noirs have targeted the 22-year-old as a potential replacement for the Frenchman. He is considered a priority target.
Everton are also considering a potential move for Igamane. After already securing the services of Thierno Barry, David Moyes could look to bolster his attacking options further with the addition of the Moroccan. Feyenoord are also monitoring the forward’s situation ahead of a potential move.
Despite their previous attempt to sign the Rangers striker stalling, Les Dogues have not given up in their pursuit yet. No official offer has yet been sent, but the Ligue 1 club have not ruled out doing so, Foot Mercato understands.
