Everton have been boosted by the returns of three players to training following injuries, ahead of the game against Leeds on Monday.
Idrissa Gana Gueye and Iliman Ndiaye have returned from the Africa Cup of Nations too, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jarrad Branthwaite and Charly Alcaraz have all resumed training.
Branthwaite has yet to play this season due to a hamstring injury.
“Jarrad Branthwaite and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are back training,” continued Moyes. “But Kiernan is just back in. Charly Alcaraz is back in training as well, so they’re certainly getting much closer to it, that’s for sure.”

But Jack Grealish is set to be out for a while with a foot injury.
“It’s a big blow because he’s been hugely important to us since the start of the season,” said Moyes.
“It’s not for me to give the timescales – we’ve not got it from the doctors yet.”
Moyes also says a decision will be made about whether youngster Harrison Armstrong will go back on loan to Preston for the rest of the season.
“He had his best game [so far] for us against Aston Villa, that’s for sure,” Moyes said. “He stepped up. I think like any player, whether it be an overseas player or a young player, it sometimes can take you a few games to get used to the Premier League – but Harrison has done a brilliant job since he came in.
“I still would like to give him back to Preston but if I can’t and I need him here, then I’ll more than do that. I’ve got to make sure that I get him games – I don’t want him sitting on the bench, and I think if he’s going to be sat on the bench here all of the time, then I’d probably send him back.
“Absolutely [it’s a balancing act]. We’re just beginning to get some players more likely to be back in and around the squad but, again, it only takes one injury and we could be struggling again.
“It’ll probably be a late decision before the deadline that we make that decision.”
