Everton are considering a move for RB Leipzig right-back Ridle Baku, according to The Athletic.

The 28-year-old brings years of experience to the table having made 248 appearances in the Bundesliga over nine seasons.

Baku has weighed in with 24 goals and 26 assists, and he could be perfect for Everton.

The German can also play on the right wing and in the middle of the park, and manager David Moyes is a fan of versatile players.

Passing, playing through balls, holding on to the ball and defensive contributions are some of Baku’s biggest strengths.

He led the entire Bundesliga with 1,031 sprints in 2024-25 and was third in the rankings last term with 739 sprints.

The Everton target is a hardworking player, and he has what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.

It is unclear whether Everton have any plans to make a concrete move for the German this summer, but he is very much on their wishlist.

They need a quality right-back having largely used Jake O’Brien as a makeshift in the position last season.
