Everton U21s 2 - 2 Burnley U21s

Everton U21s looked to be set for a home win against Burnley U21s in this Premier League 2 fixture at Finch Farm on Monday night but a goal in the 9th minute of added time at the end secured a point for the visitors.
After a goalless first half, Everton took the lead through their young goal-hound, Braiden Graham, and that was followed less than 10 minutes by what should have been a winning goal from Kingston Boakye.
But the visitors were handed a lifeline from the penalty spot with 20 minutes left, and went on to stun the home side when they drew level with almost the last kick of the game.
Everton U21s: Lukjanciks, Samuels-Smith, Van Schoor, Welch, Thomas, Bates, Boakye (65 Pita), Gomez (38' Olayiwola), Ebere (85' Loney), Akarakiri, Graham.

Michael (2),
I would have been in touch during the game but I went out and have just got back in now.
Another goal from Braiden, don't know what it was like but he's got a gift for putting the ball in the back of the net.

Have a look at another quality goal from Braiden on GrandOldTeam and realise the talent the lad has got for putting the ball in the net while we wait for one of our main strikers to do the business.

If he carries on like this, surely he'll be entitled to a move to a big club.

Yep, another calm assured finish.
What do you think his realistic next step up is?
A loan to a club who wants to play through the lines and not just smash it up to the big lads up top.
He is playing wide left, is that his long-term position?
I would love us to change things up a bit. We are so predictable, it's 4-4-1-1 every week regardless. Moyes did change at half time against Leeds but that's been about it all season.

I#d like to see him against better opposition. I don't think that's in the Premier League yet, but I think he needs a sterner test than U18- or U21-level defenders and goalkeepers. I am not belittling his achievement either, so please don't bother with a pile on.
They're nice goals, and his pitch pass the other day in the FA Youth Cup, points to a well rounded game.
The Dutch league would be perfect for him, in my opinion.
