Everton are set to face Crystal Palace at Hill Dickinson Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

It is expected to be a tricky game for the Toffees, who are going through an underwhelming run, and will be up against the only undefeated side in the league.

Oliver Glasner’s side have won three of their six matches so far while drawing the other three. They won their last two matches against Liverpool and West Ham by the same 2-1 scoreline.

The Blues, meanwhile, are searching for their first win in over a month. After back-to-back wins against Brighton and Wolves, David Moyes’s side has managed a goalless draw with Aston Villa and a 1-1 draw with West Ham at home. Sandwiched between them was a 2-1 derby loss at Anfield.

Everton were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Wolves and fans could definitely use a win to get behind the side and get their voices heard in the club’s first back-to-back assignment at their new home.

Everton vs Crystal Palace - Team News and Predicted Starting XI

Everton Team News

Everton will be without Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall after the summer signing picked up a suspension following five yellow cards in six games. However, to be fair to the midfielder, a couple of those bookings were simply ridiculous.

Dewsbury-Hall was booked for taking a quick free-kick against Liverpool at Anfield and saw a caution for what was a clean tackle to win the ball in the closing stages of the match against West Ham.

While David Moyes could experiment with Jack Grealish at number 10 and start with Iliman Ndiaye and Tyler Dibling on the wings, he is unlikely to tamper too much with his starting XI. As a result, Charly Alcaraz could slot in as a direct replacement for Dewsbury-Hall.

Elsewhere, the Blues continue to miss Jarrad Branthwaite and Merlin Rohl.

Everton predicted starting XI: Jordan Pickford (GK), Jake O’Brien, Michael Keane, James Tarkowski, Vitalii Mykolenko, James Garner, Idrissa Gueye, Carlos Alcaraz, Iliman Ndiaye, Jack Grealish, Thierno Barry

People may look twice at that, but I'm telling you one thing now, Michael Keane is without a shadow of a doubt our best finisher and I state that in terms of both on the deck and in the air.

Why can't Keane play there?

Dion Dublin and Chris Sutton were both good strikers that often at times in their careers were deployed at centre half and did a more than able job.

If Moyes persists with the same formation again I think it's asking for more of them same, pedestrian movement and no threat up front.

Try something radical, I don't care if its not a good look dropping strikers, just play a team that benefits us.
