Everton travel to Molineux for their third-round Carabao Cup tie against Wolves on Tuesday in a confident mood.
The Toffees have been in solid form, losing just twice in their last ten games, and they put in another battling display despite defeat against Liverpool at the weekend.
David Moyes’s side will hold a significant psychological advantage for this match, having already won 3-2 at this venue in the Premier League just three weeks ago.
They will be aiming for a repeat performance against a Wolves team in crisis, as they look to book their place in the fourth round of the competition.
David Moyes is expected to rotate his squad for the cup tie but will still be without defender Jarrad Branthwaite and midfielder Merlin Röhl due to injury.
Mark Travers, who has featured in previous cup rounds, is set to deputise for Jordan Pickford in goal.
Carlos Alcaraz, Tyler Dibling and Thierno Barry also pushing for starts after being on the bench at Anfield. Barry started in the previous round and is hoping for more minutes as he looks to settle at Everton. The French forward scored 11 goals in La Liga for Villarreal last season.
Everton predicted XI: Travers; Coleman, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Iroegbunam; McNeil, Alcaraz, Grealish; Barry.
The Carabao Cup fixture will be played at Molineux Stadium on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45 pm BST.
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports+ in the UK. Coverage begins at 7:30 pm BST.
