According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Serie A giants will, for now, focus on securing bank approvals and finishing the paperwork.

Meanwhile, meeting the deadline is of paramount importance.

Indeed, the Superintendency’s restriction on the second tier will take effect after November 10.

That will prevent demolition if the stadium remains publicly owned.

Moreover, the design of the new San Siro will begin immediately afterward, with Norman Foster leading the project.

With work on the new stadium scheduled to begin in early 2027, the clubs expect to get it done by 2030.
