The latest squad of players called upon by Brazil national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Monday been unveiled online.
And it features a number of names linked to Spanish football’s two leading clubs.
From La Liga table-toppers Real Madrid, Ancelotti has called upon three of his former Blancos stars, in the form of Éder Militão, Rodrygo, and Vinícius Jr.
The headline inclusion, though, comes in that of Vitor Roque.
Former Barcelona frontman Roque has for his part spent recent months re-building his reputation in his home country, courtesy of a string of starring performances for Palmeiras.
And such endeavours have early this week been aptly recognised, by way of a place back in the Brazilian national team setup.
Elsewhere, another three ex-Real Madrid players – in Casemiro, Fabinho and Danilo – are also called upon by the Seleção.
Amid ongoing preparations for next year’s World Cup, Brazil have been pencilled in for a pair of friendly fixtures this month, against Senegal and Tunisia respectively.
