Stankovic played ninety minutes in the 4-1 win and was impressive throughout.

The 20-year-old, son of Inter and Lazio legend Dejan, joined Brugge in the summer.

After coming up through the youth academy of Inter, the club finally parted ways with the Serbian.

The Nerazzurri have a buy-back clause in the deal, for €22m in 2026 or €25m in 2027.

The youngster did not play a single game for Inter’s first team.

Last season, Stankovic was sent on loan to Swiss side Luzern.

In Switzerland, he played 39 times in all competitions and scored three goals.
